Starting in Auckland, travel north on one of GreatSights' comfortable and air conditioned deluxe coaches. Sit back and relax as Northland's spectacular scenery passes by your window.

After arriving in Paihia, you'll board the Dolphin Seeker, our purpose built catamaran licensed by the Department of Conservation for dolphin and whale viewing. Enjoy the large outdoor viewing decks as we cruise past the islands of the Bay. Keep a look out for common and bottlenose dolphins, whales and other marine life as our experienced local skippers get you up close to the action.

Pass By: Cape Brett Lighthouse, Rawhiti 0184, New Zealand

Cruise past the Cape Brett Lighthouse, before arriving at the majestic Hole in the Rock. If conditions permit, your skipper will navigate right through the narrow space before heading back into the inner islands of the Bay

Stop At: Waitangi Treaty Grounds, 1 Tau Henare Dr, Paihia New Zealand

guided tour of the historic Waitangi Treaty Grounds where in 1840, the Treaty of Waitangi was signed between Maori and the British Crown. Explore the original Treaty House, one of New Zealand's oldest and most visited historic homes and the Te Whare Runanga, a fully carved Maori meeting house, which is representative of all Iwi (regional tribes) in New Zealand.

Beautiful tour, well worth the money. I would however skipped the meal option if I were to return.

Excellent tour run by Great Sights, our driver Ben took us on a couple of extra stops as all the passengers were good with the time keeping and getting on the bus on time. The Treaty Grounds was an excellent introduction to the Moari history and traditions. The Cruise also was excellent, we saw many Dolphins and we were lucky enough to be able to go through the Hole in the Rock.
