Meet your personal guide upon hotel pickup and set off by private minivan to the Grand Palace, located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River in the heart of Bangkok. Adjacent to the Grand Palace stands the city’s oldest temple, Wat Pho. Marvel at the 140-foot-long (43-meter) Reclining Buddha covered in gold leaf alongside 1,000 Buddha images. Wat Traimit (Temple of the Golden Buddha) is your final stop. Admire the temple's namesake, constructed of solid gold and covered in plaster for centuries until it was rediscovered in the 1950s.

Our guide was Ms. Maliwan. She was extremely knowledgeable of any subject matter related to the Temples. Many people along the way knew her, so she is obviously a very experienced guide. Highly recommend her and this tour.
