Meet your expert guide while being picked up in your Barcelona hotel and get ready for a memorable day packed with dramatic coastline and pristine blue waters. The private adventure begins with the postcard-perfect coastal village of Calella de Palafrugell. Get your camera out for the first stunning photo opportunity of the cove’s rainbow-colored rowboats rocking in the sea. Listen as your guide explains the history of the village and then set out along the Camino de Ronda, a meandering coastal trail that leads to the secret cove of Cala El Golfet, where you can splash in the refreshing water or just take in the scene from the sandy shore.

Next up is L’Estartit, where you have time for a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant (own expense). Depart L’Estartit for the nature reserve of the Medes Islands by way of a glass-bottomed catamaran. Viator's private tours are pricey, but we've found the three we've taken - including this one - well worth the extra money. The tour was customized to our particular interests in history and nature, we received personalized attention, and we could ask for more or fewer details on different parts of the tour. A very memorable day.

Absolutely Wonderful. We were picked up from our ship on time and headed out of the city. Pablo our driver was excellent. Our guide Vivian was one of the best we have ever encountered during our anniversary vacation. She was vey personable and knowledgeable. Loved the beauty of the coast. The only disappointment was the very small beach area compounded by so many people. We were unable to sit anywhere. Every square inch covered with a body. Personally I would not include any time in this area except to enjoy the beauty. Visited a Medieval city which we enjoyed. Took a boat ride out to Dinosaur Rock after lunch. Very convenient and interesting. Loved the glass bottom. We thoroughly enjoyed our Private Tour.

Very professional drive and very competent and informative tour guide. The senery rugged and panoramic.. the two made the trip. The leg to L'Estartit was a complete waste of time..the town is boring..the glass bottom boat ride full of pushy French pensioners was a flop..saw a waste of sand, two clumps of sand and a distant sardine? we were marooned for almot two hours which curtailed our time in Pals a fascinating village..great trip but for L'Estartit

Simply outstanding. Vivian and Pablo were amazing!! We even booked another tour with them on the spot. The entire day was simply fabulous. They picked us up, drove everywhere and showed us the coast along with the best areas of Costa Brava. They even let us shop longer causing the tour to last much longer than normal--but they were both happy to do it!. We can't wait to take the next tour with them!
