It was a nice and good guide, only you need to be prepare to loose time picking up other travellers.

Trip was ok. It's worth it and a recommend. Just be careful of the little catch. Although my ticket said bottle of water, pick up and drop of were inclusive, I had to pay 5 CYN for the water I was told it's not inclusive and at the end of the tour I was told drop off was also not included. I showed them my confirmed ticket with the list of inclusions and was advised to take the metro due to traffic. After I told them I didn't mind the traffic I was shuffled twice between 2 drivers but hey after a long day I ended up at my hotel. Be sure to verify details before you buy this ticket.

On the description they promise to pick you up at your downtown hotel, but they told me I was a bit far away from the city center. I found out many people who were also staying in central locations were not picked up nor dropped off either. The guide seemed to be constantly nervous. Things seemed to be very unorganized. They didn't seem to know what they were doing very well. The guide did not offer any substantial information regarding the history of the Great Wall. I prefer to read about the places prior to the trip and concentrate only on the scenery when I'm visiting, but I know a lot of people care about having some basic things explained. Some people didn't seem to know that the tour didn't cover the cable car to actually get to the walking area of the Great Wall. You can either go up on stairs and it's a long and very tiring walk or you can get a cable car, which is 100RMB both ways. This tour offers an English speaking guide, a bus ride from the metro station to the Great Wall and back to Beijing, general admission to the Great Wall which is 45RMB and lunch. Lunch was at one of the restaurants in the area nothing special at all. If know locals in Beijing, if you're staying at a hostel and can get information on other tours or if you speak Mandarin, I'm certain you can find a much better deal. But if that's not the case for you, this tour is not a bad option either.
