Om den här aktiviteten
Your tour will start at the Reichstag, after your hotel pickup from central Berlin. Learn about the Reichstag fire and the consequences in 1933 for the German democracy. Pass the Soviet War Memorial and walk along the East-West axis to the Brandenburg Gate and Pariser Platz.
Your guide will also show you the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and the place of the former “Führerbunker,” where Hitler spent his last weeks. You will also see the Nazi ministries, such as Goebbels’ Propaganda Ministry, Goering’s Ministry of Aviation and Hitler's Chancellery.
Your next stop is Checkpoint Charlie, where you will see the torture cellars left over from the headquarters of SS and Gestapo and then the Clou, the entertainment palace where Hitler held his first speech in Berlin and where Jews and opponents were later gathered for deportation.
Afterwards you are on to the former Imperial Bank, with its massive and forceful Nazi-facade. Continue on to Humboldt University, where 20,000 books written by opponents of the regime were burned. Take a closer look at the Neue Wache next, as well as the Lustgarten on Museum Island. Listen to your guide explaining the fatal art policies of the Third Reich, before finishing up at the Jewish synagogue that, although burned in 1938, was partly saved by a courageous policeman and the fire brigade.
The most important sites visited include the Reichstag, Soviet War Memorial, Brandenburg Gate, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, former Führerbunker, Goebbels’ Propaganda Ministry, Goering’s Ministry of Aviation, Hitler's Chancellery and more.

The tour guide was OK. Lovely lady. But I don't think its worth the money. Primarily because you are focused on one area that has most of the Third Reich sites from this tour. You don't see as much as the tour description advertises. No museums either. There are bus (public) and cab rides involved (the cost of the cab rides are not included) and you have to find a way to get a quick bite in. For 1/3 of the price, it would be been a better deal.
