Förundras över hantverket i hjulångaren i trä medan du går ombord för din lunchkryssning. Den trevliga personalen välkomnar dig till ditt bord och går igenom kryssningsschemat. När du har orienterat dig på båten kan du strosa på däck och få en obehindrad utsikt över Brisbanes sjösida. Besättningen berättar om Brisbanes utveckling och sevärdheterna som du åker förbi.
En modern buffémeny serveras medan båten glider fram på floden. Välj rätter du tycker om från ett stort urval av utsökta varma och kalla rätter, med en meny som innehåller färska råvaror från Australien. Maten serveras med tillbehör som gourmetbröd, ris och pasta samt frestande efterrätter. På helgkryssningen ingår mousserande vin, Great Northern öl, Hahn Premium Light, läsk och juice. Dryck finns att köpa i baren.
Efter måltiden svänger du i takt till musiken samtidigt som du njuter av utsikten över Brisbane från din utkiksplats på floden.
De berömda hjulångarna på Mississippifloden har stått förebild vid utformningen av den här båten. Brisbanes hjulångare är omsorgsfullt tillverkade av trä från Queensland, t.ex. olika slags eukalyptusträd och vitbok. De har blivit en ikon för Brisbanefloden och de uppskattas av såväl invånare som besökare.
Efter 2 timmars kryssning avslutas rundturen när hjulångaren återvänder till kajen.

A special group of 75 retirees were given priority boarding and there was quite a bit of confusion in the boarding line. Once on board, we were seated beneath window level. The staff seemed overwhelmed and the service was slow. We had to leave our table and ascend to the upper deck so as to enjoy the views. The buffet lunch was actually very good but we were literally the last table allowed to proceed to the buffet table. I recommend a smaller tour group and boat if you desire to enjoy the Brisbane river views.

My wife and I booked a lunchtime river cruise on the Brisbane river with Kookaburra cruises. Boarding at 12:00 midday with a smorgasbord lunch containing Salt and Pepper chicken pieces, Roast chicken, several salads, slow cooked angus beef and pork belly, fish, etc. Deserts were cheesecake, chocolate slice and panacotta. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with special mention for Pippa, Maz, Saxon, Chloe and our entertainment MC Peter. The atmosphere was relaxed with birthdays and aniversaries to be celebrated with singing of songs all around (I use the word singing losely) :-) The customer base was mixed but the majority were more mature pirates. I believe the dinner cruises are more for the younger generation with holding of hands, kissing and all that icky stuff. Highly recommend this attraction.

The 2 hr. experience on the cruise boat was excellent. The service was great. The food was excellent. Great value for money!!

Trip was great apart from the last few hours, which finds us stranded in Brisbane because Newcastle airport is closed due to bush fresh therefore we can't get how, jetstar are quite useless!

A real treat. Food was very good better than you would expect for a buffet and service was excellent. The commentary was thorough and tells you about the history of the city and its highlights. We were able to chat with the captain about the flood a few years ago and heard very interesting stories about the city and its people. Brisbane is a beautiful, very livable city and the best way to enjoy it is of course from the river. I certainly recommend this tour.

Lovely trip. We think that the best way to see Brisbane is from the river. The food was really good, the staff friendly and overall very good value.
