Private Tour: Antwerp Trip from Brussels

Start your day trip with a hotel pickup from your Brussels hotel, and travel north to the city of Antwerp — Belgium’s second largest city. Home to the country’s largest port, Antwerp boasts maritime heritage as well as artistic history and, luckily for you, this private tour covers it all.

When you arrive, begin with a walking tour past the Vleeshuis, also known as the Butcher’s Hall. Work your way past the age-old houses of the city center, and pose for photos in front of the Cathedral of Our Lady — the city’s Gothic head-turner.

With your private guide to explain the cathedral’s architecture, you’ll head inside to scout out its internal treasures. Pay your entrance fee, and check out some of Ruben’s masterpieces including the triptych panel paintings of Descent from the Cross and Resurrection of Christ.
