A qualified, private Egyptologist tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel at 9am to start your private tour in a private, modern a/c van (WiFi on board) to start your tour. The first stop will be Memphis, where you will see the ruins and the Museum of Memphis. Have a look at the colossal statue of king Rameses II (1200 B.C.) and the Alabaster Sphinx (1400 B.C.).

Move on to Saqqara and visit the Step Pyramid Complex of King Zose and the pyramids of Unsa, Userkaf and Teti, the museum of Imhotep as well as the tomb of Kagemni.At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Tour started at 9, but our guide Iraki was very accommodating and changed it to 9:30 due to late arriving flight. We were off to Memphis and Saqqara both very fascinating sites. Iraki is well informed and explained everything in detail. Unlike some other tours we took while visiting Egypt, Iraki did not force designated vendor stops. He instead asked and left it up to us to decide. Believe us, it is nice to have them ask you first. The tour was great and would recommend. I am not sure if you can request Iraki because most guides work for multiple companies, but if you can you will not be disappointed.
