Itinerary

Start your day in Tulum after a hotel pick-up. Enjoy a guided tour and see the majestic temples, walls ruins and infrastructure blending into the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.

Then, drive for 45 minutes to Coba, considered one of the most important cities during the height of the Mayan civilization. With about 50,000 inhabitants at its peak, you'll find many powerful iconic monuments and internal and external zac beoobs (white paths). Climb the 42 meter high pyramid and feel the mysticism of the past.

After lunch, head to Tulum Beach for some snorkeling activity at two different reefs with all the equipment necessary to later enjoy a boat trip in front of the Tulum ruins. Finish the tour in Playa Paraíso, Tulum before heading back to your hotel.

We had a fantastic experience spending the day with Alberto (tour guide) and Miguel (driver). Alberto shared lots of interesting information prior to arriving at each site and while walking around. He had a folder with pictures of what different areas would have looked like that were very helpful in providing context to the ruins in front of us. The day was well organized, they provided us with plenty of water and snacks.
