This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Cape Town Culinary Tours, 67 Strand Street Cape Town City Center, Cape Town Central 8001 South Africa

Guests are to meet the guide at the meeting point confirmed upon booking your tickets.

We will be walking between 5-6 different restaurants which each tour covers around 2.5 - 3.5 kilometers of walking where we will be sampling different local food and drink. Included into the tour are our city history, food culture, local vendors, full-time tour guide and much more secrets hidden within each different area.

Allergies or dietary requirements bookings please note: This tour is base on our local food and dishes from Cape Town, if you cancel out Red Meat, Cheese or alcohol is does change the story and experience. If you do not eat meat there is a spot on this tour that is a butchery, you will unfortunately miss out on this tasting.

Dress code is comfortable, including comfortable walking shoes.
A maximum of 10 people per booking.
A moderate amount of walking is involved, approximately 3 KMs.

Tickets are non-refundable, they are however exchangeable/transferable with a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to tour commencing.
Tour runs in slight rain but depending on how extreme, please not the guide will contact you.

A wonderful introduction to some of Cape Town's best food spots, with some alcohol thrown in here and there. Our guide, Ellie, was talented and delightful. Definitely a five star tour!

The food was amazing. The wine pairings delicious. (Include gin.). The restaurants were unique, and their staffs were very knowledgeable. Rlsje was a wealth of Cape Town history and humor. Great haircut too!

Our tour with Ellie was even more than we had hoped for. We visited a number of very good establishments - restaurants, coffee shop, butchery and craft beer bar. Each one had obviously been carefully chosen to show the best of Cape Town in terms of food and drink. In addition, Ellie gave us loads of background information on Cape Town's history and showed us around her home town with enthusiasm and obvious pride. I would not only recommend this tour to everyone, I would book again if and when we return to Cape Town.

Had a great time. Signed up within 1 hr of the start of this tour. The locations, the guide, and the foods that were organized for us were divine. One of my most unforgettable tours ever. It was the perfect way to understand South Africa from a food perspective!!
