Stop At: Southern Right Charters, The Whale Shack, New harbour, Corner of Westcliff Drive & Stil Rd, Hermanus, 7200, South Africa

Prepare for an early morning pick up in Cape Town as we set off for our Hermanus Whale Watching Shared Boat Trip. Guests will be briefed about these ocean giants by an experienced qualified whale watching specialist. Guests will board a modern shared boat with toilet facilities and embark on a 2 to 3-hour sea excursion. As soon as a whale is spotted, the skipper will stop the boat so that everyone can see these amazing sea creatures up close. As time goes by, the skipper and crew members will try to spot more whales to maximize a full whale watching experience. After the boat trip, guests will return to the Harbour.

Visit one of the largest African Penguins colonies in South Africa with chance encounters of walking next to these enchanting creatures.

Stop At: Creation Wines, Hemel & Aarde Rd R320, Hermanus, 7200, South Africa

Recommended for wine tasting in the Hemel-en-Aarde winelands. Creation wines also comes highly recommended for their food and wine pairing lunch options.

Danny was the perfect host for our trip. Knowledgeable, considerate, happy to help when needed. His knowledge of the area was great, and took us to some incredible sights including the lesser known penguin beach. Having a car to ourselves was definitely a luxury we aren't used to, but Danny helped make that even more special. Onto the activities - the whale watching was brilliant - up close with some beautiful animals, and the vineyards we visited were exquisite too. Highly recommended.
