The tour starts when our local tour guide pick you up at your Chiang Mai accommodation in the early evening, the exact of which will be communicated to you. Once the group, maximum 8 people, is together we start our exploration of Chiang Mai's famous street food markets, learning the secrets of what makes Thailand's street food so famous. Practice ordering your dishes in Thai, with the help of our leaflet detailing the most popular street food dishes.

This tour visits at least two evening markets, and you'll get to try at least 8 different dishes including Kannom Jin (Chinese noodles), northern Thai delicacies, stewed pork leg, coconut dumplings, a mix of savoury and sweet. Please ensure you come along hungry. Once you have had your fill, we will drop you off again at your accommodation at approximately 9:30 -10pm.

Please note there may be an additional surcharge to provide transportation from outside Chiang Mai city, and the tour lasts between 2.5 – 3 hours depending on the size of the group.

This tour was awesome!! We ate enough food for about a week - the tour guide and driver were both very friendly and super knowledgeable about the food and the area. I couldn't believe the amount of foods we were able to try. Highly recommend.

This is a must experience tour for foodies even for people who are not so adventurous the guide is excellent he asks what level of spice ness you would like, we visited many different sellers and tried many different dishes inc soup and sweets and then some local rice whisky to finish. Collection and drop off at your hotel was also included. We done the tour on our first night in Chiang Mai which was an additional benefit as we were set for the rest of our visit.Really recommend this tour

What a great tour. We booked this tour to get a flavor for what kinds of foods are best to get from the night market street vendors and to pick up some of the local language to order food. Our tour guide Boon was a fun guy and we had a great time. There was certainly an abundance of food to try and oh so many varieties of dishes. He picked us up and started off by teaching us a couple of Thai phrases and how to order food. When we arrived at the market he showed us some of the ingredients used and sat us down so we could enjoy tasting things. He made sure to accommodate everyone's taste to the extent he could including spice level, allergies, likes and dislikes. We tried at least 15 kinds of foods and then deserts at two markets and several stalls. All of it was wonderful. If you take this tour which I highly recommend I suggest you come on an empty stomach and with a big appetite so you can try all the various foods. Boon also made sure we had something to drink at all times during the tour. This is a must do tour.

Small group tour taken to various market areas not only to sample the local food but also a light hearted approach to ordering food in Thai. Our guide was very genuine providing information regarding the food consumed but also some of the history of Chiang Mai. Very enjoyable evening.
