Day 1: Arrival in Cusco and City Tour & Surroundings

Stop At: Cusco Cathedral, Portal Belen Plaza de Armas, Cusco 08002 Peru
The guided tour starts at 13:45 pm, and pickup starts at 1 pm (depending of your hotel)

You will enjoy a 40-minute tour with an expert knowledgeable guide. Discover the iconic paintings which mix baroque art with local traditions.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Qorikancha, Plazoleta de Santo Domingo, Cusco Peru
Enjoy a guided visit of the Convent of Santo Domingo, built on top of the Temple of the Sun: Qoricancha.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Saqsaywaman, Cusco 08002, Peru
An astonishing temple used as a fortress during the Spanish conquest. Marvel at its hand-carved stones, which weigh between 90 and 128 tons.
Duration: 40 minutes

Stop At: Q'enqo, Cusco Peru
A natural cave once used for sacrifices to the Sun God.
Duration: 20 minutes

Pass By: Puka Pukara, Cusco Peru
A fortress used as a checkpoint on the vast Inca Trail.

Stop At: Tambomachay, Cusco Peru
An Incan complex that consists of a series of aqueducts and canals that run through terraced rocks, once dedicated to the worship of water. After the tour, we will drop you off at your hotel.
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 2: Full-Day Tour of Machu Picchu from Cusco

Stop At: PeruRail, Ticket Office: Calle Roldan s/n, Distrito de Poroy, Cusco 08600, Peru
After pickup from your hotel in Cusco, we will transfer you to the train station. Enjoy this ride through the Andes with its stunning landscapes and scenery. Once you arrive to Aguas Calientes, our guide will meet you and scort you to the bus station.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Consettur Macchu Picchu, Avenida Hermanos Ayar, Machu Pikchu 08681, Peru
The bus will transport you comfortably to the top of the mountain, where you will start your tour to Machu Picchu. Roundtrip bus tickets are included.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
The highlight of your trip! Visit Machu Picchu with a certified knowledgeable guide and enjoy the architecture and landscapes like no other.
Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes

Stop At: PeruRail, Machu Picchu Pueblo s/n, Barrio Las Orquideas, Aguas Calientes 08681, Peru
Board a train back to Ollantaytambo, where our driver will pick you up and transport you to your hotel in Cusco.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

I was so pleased with this tour!! We unfortunately arrived late from Lima and our guide arranged it so that we could meet up with our group where they were stopping next and we were so happy how smooth it all went. It was informative and very well organized. thank you from Canada.

Not enough time for the city tour and at Machu Picchu though the Guides were excellent. Issue with train seats/booking on the way back had to negotiate with Peru Rail for better seating arrangement/resolved.

Everything was perfect, met at the airport and taken to our hotel, and afternoon tour of Cusco was interesting. Picked up next morning and taken to the station for Machu Picchu. Excellent guide of Machu Picchu - just stunning place!! All went exactly to plan

Our tour was excellent. Every tour guide was on time and efficient. Franklin- our first tour guide was at the airport in Cusco waiting on us and had everything that we needed for the rest of the trip. Efrain, our tour guide in Machu Picchu was knowledgeable and patient. The hotel is exactly what you paid for. It was clean, quiet and safe.

This was fantastic! They handled absolutely everything for me and even picked me up despite the fact that my flight was extremely delayed in Miami. The guides were amazing and they check in with you frequently to make sure you're doing well even after the tour is over, which was nice since I was traveling alone and not aware of what I was doing much of the time. The tours of Cusco were tiring after 30 hours of travel but well worth it so I recommend flying in the day before if possible. They made sure I got to the airport on time for my flight and kept me abreast of changes. At one point we missed the train to Macchu Picchu so they drove me much of the way instead which was also quite breathtaking.
