Pick up from hotel either in Da Nang or Hoi An, the Jeep will drive you along the coast. Your first stop is the picturesque Marble Mountain (or called “Five Elements Mountains” by locals, represented by metal-wood-water-fire-earth). Take some steps up, you will explore caves and pagodas and view to the East Sea and a part of Danang City then visit Non Nuoc Village, which is known for stone sculpturing masterpieces. Leaving Non Nuoc, heading to Hai Van Pass, this is also the borderline of Danang and Hue. Some historical relics are still there to tell you the history of that area. Have lunch in Lang Co Beach Town then driving to Son Tra Peninsula. From the foot of Monkey Mountain, your drive becomes challenging on the zigzag roads. Drive on the forgotten road and visit the former helicopter airport of the US Army where helicopters used to supply goods to US soldiers. Drive down to the mountain, stop to visit Linh Ung Pagoda, the pagoda features a white statue of the Goddess of Mercy, it is now a 'must visit' in Da Nang City. Drive back to your hotel, trip ends!

The trip was enjoyable. As it turns out, a lot of the things on this tour were in another tour we took. I was not able to know this from the description. Only complaint was it would have been nice if the seat in the jeep had a bit more padding for 2 old butts!

The guys that took us on our trip were great, but the commentary was limited so that impacted our rating. Jeep was fantastic, views spectacular. As a side note, we were very grateful, post our tour when we found our flight back to HCM City had been delayed thanks again Jetstar for no notice!, meaning we would miss our International flight home, when our guide not sure of his spelling but Lik went over and above and came to the airport with us and negotiated a flight on another airline. For this we are eternally grateful. Representative of the Vietnamese people, really, so THANK YOU.

Excellent day, informative without going overboard, friendly guide and willing to spend time where we wanted. Lunch was excellent, in a local restaurant, was by far the best meal of the holiday and a good way to try local food, having the cooking procedures and ingredients explained to us.
