The shore excursion starts in the morning when your cruise ship docks at the Tien Sa port, where you'll be picked up by your guide and driver for your tour to Hoi An Ancient Town.

Travel along a beautiful street by My Khe Beach to reach Hoi An, and wander around to experience this old port town on foot. You can admire the mixture of different construction techniques of historical sites, such as Japanese Bridge, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Sa Huynh Museum, Ong Pagoda and the local market. Hoi An is known for its shopping and tailors with reasonable prices. Also, if interested, take advantage of some custom tailoring, which can be done in a couple of hours. You'll also have the chance to enjoy a traditional music show at an old house.

In the afternoon, leave Hoi An Ancient Town for Da Nang City, and visit Marble Mountain to admire Da Nang from the top. The system of caves and tunnels, as well as pagodas, is a great experience to take in the natural features. You will return to Tien Sa in the afternoon before your cruise ship departs.

Enjoyed seeing the historic city of Hoi An and had a wonderful lunch on the river. We saw China Beach and Ba Na Hill with the war tunnels. Our guide was very flexible and made extra stops to see water buffalo in the fields and sites from the Vietnam War era.
