When it comes to Croatian winemaking, the stunning Pelješac peninsula and the beautiful island of Korčula are two destinations not to be missed. The scenic peninsula of Pelješac stretches out like a green finger into the Adriatic Sea. Picturesque vineyards cling to rocky slopes dotted by the thick Mediterranean vegetation. A short ferry ride brings you to a beautiful island steeped in history – the island of Korčula. A trip to these jewels of the Croatian coastline makes for a magical day where you will be awestruck by the region's natural beauty while having the chance to sip exquisite local wines.
The Pelješac peninsula personifies the best of the Mediterranean – a spectacular coastline and wild interior, hidden coves and beaches, vineyards, oyster bays, historic towns and villages, delicious food, and great wines. A short ferry trip brings you to the magical island of Korčula and its fairy-tale like walled town. The walled city, birthplace of Marco Polo, was first mentioned in the 10th century and every pristine stone has its own special history.
This tour offers two spectacular destinations in one day all combined with exceptional cuisines and fine wines, making for a perfect day trip from Dubrovnik. And as the Croatian saying goes “A day without wine is like a day without sunshine”.

Trip was more to visit the towns of Ston which has a neat walledfortification and Korcula which is a gorgeous island , great promenade for restaurants and a small old town . We had one of the most relaxing lunches there Last stop was at the Matuscka winery which had one white two red, a sweet wine ,cherry and a grappa for tasting. Overall ,nice trip but was expecting more wine tasting We did spend over about 4 hrs total driving from location to location .Guide was informative
I have worked years as a guide, tour operator rep and been some 15 years in the tourist business. I was very much deceived by this 'Small-Group Wine Tour'. I do not consider 28 persons as a small-group tour. We were fully occupying a mid sized bus almost to the last seat. We were constantly waiting for late persons at departure several hotels, at Ston as well as in Korçula. Our guide was quite OK and informative, though the information for a professional person was shallow. Transfers Dubrovnik - Ston / Peljesac winery - Dubrovnik fairly long. Time in Korçula was good for stroll in the city lunch not included as stated. No wine tasting in Korçula. Visit to winery Matuško at Peljesac Peninsula was also OK. People got tired / restless standing through tasting. Tasting of light White wine, light Red wine, basic Red wine, local Grappa as well as a Sherry type wine. The really heavy and GOOD stuff Dingac Superior and Reservas we didn't get to taste. I barely had time to have a glass in the bar 40KUN for 0,15L of 5yrs old matured oak cask reserva 15 alc. WOW while others ran to the toilets. Enjoyed the nice wines when we got to Dubrovnik that I bought. Absolutely worth buying the good stuff 150KUN Reserva at winery as it is 270KUN at DBV airport. Just in May we were in Florence and did a superb wine tasting Small-group tour via Viator. These tours were carried out by vans combined driver/guide and only take 8-9 people per van. Very nice
