This trip was just ok. It was nice to get out of the city for a bit. Siena was nice to walk around the Duomo was absolutely amazing. Dinner at the winery wasn't gourmet but good none the less. Overall a fair price for what you get.

This activity begins with a visit to Siena with a good background talk by the guide. Siena is quite interesting as it is a well preserved old city and the site of a famous horse racing festival. You can see the cobbled lanes they race around. Must be quite scary to watch. Then on to a vineyard for the tasting dinner. The lady who conducts proceedings is very knowledgeable and also very entertaining. The food is excellent and the wine also, although the samples could be a little more generous perhaps. My only slight reservation is that towards the end there is a bit of pressure to buy some product, but generally it was a fun experience.

Wine tasting was excellent. Tour guide was OK. We were harassed with phone calls saying that the trip was taking off 15 minutes before posted leave time telling us they were leaving without us. Even though we had called and told them we would be there prior to leave time and later than the 15 minute earlier time. Got calls every 1 minute until we got there 5 minutes before leave time as documented in my email confirmation. Other than that the tour was great!

The tour was nice but instead of eating outside on a beautiful night watching the sunset, we ate downstairs at a bar. The food was delicious, the pours were very small. It was a long way to travel from Florence on the bus, would have been nice to be outside.

Mostly self-guided walking tour through beautiful Siena followed by a lovely dinner with wine tasting at a beautiful winery. Judita at the winery was charming, knowledgeable and interesting. The food was plentiful, served family style al fresco, as the sun set. The only improvement would have been some italian music! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
