In Las Alpujarras region, just 46 kilometers from Granada city and 38 km from the coast, lies the spa center known as the Balneario de Lanjarón, in the town after which it is named, Lanjarón. This center of thermal waters has five separate springs, each with their own traits and properties, which act as a muscular analgesic and sedative, as well as their many other qualities. Nearby, in La Tahá, the waters that spring up in the Bermejo Canyon are ideal for boosting your iron levels.

This was not worth the money we paid. Although we booked English tour the tour guide spent more time explaining in Spanish and very little time in English. One English couple told the tour guide that this rude.

We were glad we signed up for this outing, rather than rent a car and do the driving ourselves. The guide and driver were thoroughly professional. The itinerary was well-planned and the stops were interesting. The ham and cheese sampling plus the lunch were very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful time on this full day trip, Michael was a fantastic tour guide, he was so friendly, informative, knowledgeable and helpful and everything was so well organised. The villages were wonderful and the lunch and tapas tasting were delicious, it certainly was a day to remember
