Sapa by overnight train & 3-day Trek (homestay & hotel)

NIGHT 1: HANOI - SAPA BY OVERNIGHT TRAIN 

This evening, board an overnight express train from Hanoi to Lao Cai. Snooze in comfortable sleeper berths arriving in Lao Cai early the following morning.

DAY 1: SAPA - Y LINH HO - LAO CHAI - TA VAN (10km trekking)

Arrive in Lao Cai station, pick up and get on the car to continue to Sapa. Have breakfast. We start walking down to the South East of Sapa alongside Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho, a village of the H’Mong minority. The hereditary terraces are around 100 years old. From Y Linh Ho we will make our way to Lao Chai, take picture of paddle field and visit minority house and school. Have picnic lunch in the Black H’Mong house, discover their daily life style and enjoy landscape.

After lunch, continue your trekking to Ta Van village of Dzay minority people where we stay overnight in a local family to get to know their specific customs.

Day 2: Ta Van - Giang Ta Chai Villages - Sapa (about 11 km)

On the morning of the second day, open the window and have a look outside. After breakfast with pancake, we continue to walk through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai and then Su Pan village of the Red Dzao minority. Have a scenic picnic lunch, then walk to the main road and catch van/motorbike back to Sapa town.

Ride back to Sapa and you might stop some times on the way to take photos of the fabulous valley of Sapa. Check in hotel and have dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at Hotel in Sa Pa town

Day 3: Sapa – Cat Cat and Sin Chai – Lao Cai Station (about 7 km)

Breakfast in hotel, the rest of the morning is free to explore the town on your own. After lunch you check out and leave your luggage in the hotel then get yourself ready before heading down to Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages of Black H’Mong tribe. Enjoy the waterfall in Cat Cat and beautiful scenery along the way. Back to Sapa and get fresh with a shower in the hotel’s day room then transfer to Lao Cai Station where you will have dinner in a local restaurant before boarding your return train.

NIGHT 4: SAPA - HANOI BY OVERNIGHT TRAIN

Overnight sleeper train arriving early in the morning at Hanoi station. Tour ends.
