Pickup will be at Cruise Ship Terminal

Stop At: Volcano National Park, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, Island of Hawaii, HI

We will visit the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park Visitor Center 30 miles from Hilo to view short videos of the 2018 eruption. We will then visit the Steam Vents and walk out to view the Kilauea Caldera where we will explain the latest changes that occurred over the summer.

We will also see Kilauea Iki crater and then driving down some of Chain of Craters Road we will walk out on a past lava flow where we will explain some of the different formations.

On our way from the Macadamia Farm to the Richardson Beach we drive by Banyan Drive and Liliuokalani Gardens

We drive by this garden named after the last queen of Hawaii.

Duration: 10 minutes

Stop At: Richardson Beach Park, 2279 Kalanianaole Ave, Hilo, Island of Hawaii, HI 96720

This is our location to see the Black Sand Beach. Sometimes if nature agrees you may see turtles. Time at location includes driving time.

At the 4000 foot elevation it is good to bring a light jacket and shoes that allow you to walk across uneven lava surfaces.
When booking you must provide all names and a cabin number if you have one yet or a mobile phone which is needed for our port manifest for port entry.
