This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Hoi An Express, Tran Hung Dao, Hoi An 560000 Vietnam

Pick you up at your hotel by bicycle (In case of not being able to bike, van can be used to go as an option). Biking to the countryside throughout the rice paddy, enjoy the fresh air with the nature. In Hoi An, there are 2 seasons of growing rice yearly, in the season, farmers are often busy and get up early in the morning. They work hard from the early morning till the late afternoon.

Meeting the local farmer, talking with them about their local farming daily life, having a cup of tea with them at the middle of the rice paddy field farm. Wearing farming clothes before getting into muddy rice field like: Vietnamese authentic and traditional farmer clothes, conical hat, boost… Learning how to grow the wet rice with water buffalo plough, use agricultural water system. Farming on the rice paddy is a cooperative job, so through this job, we can understand the personalities of Vietnamese farmers such as: cooperation, support, help, freedom, generosity …

Enjoy riding water buffalo at a small pond at the rice farm. Having a local meal with the local farmer at their house and chatting with them about their daily life.

Amazing morning, couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The tour is operated through a company called Jack Tran tours, our guide Viet was very knowledgable and friendly. The local farmers you meet are also very friendly and make the experience even better - must do trip in Hoi An!

Thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Nothing was too much trouble and when two elderly people were incapable of riding bicycles to the farm we were taken by mini bus. Very experienced tour guide and farm workers/owners were incredible making sure that we learnt all aspects of rice farming. We would recommend this tour to all.

This half day tour was just the right amount of touring I need in one day. Some bike riding across fields, buffalo riding and rice farming, and a delicious filling meal at the end. We did get in the mud and do some rice farming the traditional way. It was fun, and you need to be prepared to get messy. They wash your feet and you get your shower at the hotel so it was all good. Lots of fun guaranteed. We showed a video to people back home in Australia and they want to go to Vietnam.
