Pass By: Hoi An Ancient Town, Hoi An 560000 Vietnam

Free pick-up at your hotel in Hoi An town

Stop At: Cam Thanh community home, Cẩm Thanh, Hội An, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam

08:30 - 09:00: Your guide will pick you up at your hotel to Cam Thanh fishing village

09:30: Meet local fishermen and experience the daily life of their family and let them welcome you with with water, coconut fruit and fruit juice.

10:00: Get on a bamboo basket-boat on the Cam Thanh water and have a brief introduction of its history.

11:00: Join local fisherman on the river and enjoy hands-on experience of round-net and cast-net fishing. Learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket-boat and join in a basket-boat race. Explore and go fishing and catch crab, coconut mussels and make tools from coconut leaves. Then you will return to the fisherman´s house and cook what you have gathered. Enjoy lunch or dinner and mineral water.

Good time but we were under the impression we would spend more time on the bamboo basket boat.

Great tour. Very fun to ride in the basket. Tour guide was ok. I had more fun with the local who I rode the basket with. I speak Vietnamese so may be I got more of a personal touch. She made it fun for me and gave me a little more history beside the tour guide and the lives of the local. She is also very polite with here demeanor

Unexpected this tour is so good. Very reasonable rates. Not only have rowing bowl experience, cooking class and then have a very nice lunch. Good boat trip and at the end, we again entertained by traditional Vietnam noodles . Nice people and guide.
