7:30am: Your English-speaking guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and you will start your journey to Hue. First you will travel along the coast road and drive through the busy city of Da Nang before traveling to the top of Hai Pass. After stopping to take some photos, your driver will take you down the winding road toward Lang Co Beach, before arriving to Hue.

11:00am: You will arrive in Hue and visit the Imperial Citadel and enjoy a set-menu lunch. After lunch, cruise on the Perfume River to visit several of the larger pagodas and tombs located along the river including the Thien Mu pagoda. Built on a hillock overlooking the Perfume River, it is an icon of Vietnam and the symbol of Hue. You will also visit Tu Duc tomb or Khai Dinh tomp.

4:30pm: You will return to Hue and start your drive back through the road tunnel under Hai Van Pass.

6:30pm - 7:30pm: You will return to your hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang

Unfortunately the weather was awful so we were unable to go over the Pass or catch the boat trip down the Perfume River. Our guide Minh was EXCELLENT, informative, friendly and great company,

Very nice and friendly tour guide and driver. The tour guide Hieu made the best out of the rainy weather, doing his best to share all that he knew, and also making small talks with us along the 3h drive. Although the driver couldn't speak much english, he was still very enthusiastic and conversing with us through the help of Hieu, and his body gestures.

Very good trip but a long journey there and back. The time is because the speed limit is strictly enforced coupled with some poor roads means the average speed is only about 50KPH. The trip itself was great. Our guide was very good but we had to concentrate to understand his accent. The lunch that was part of the deal was excellent. I thoroughly recommend the trip but ensure you have entertainment or a neck pillow for the journey
