Immerse in an important part of traditional Turkish culture during this visit to a 1-hour Whirling Dervish museum and ceremony. Sip on a complimentary soft drink in the lobby and wander the exhibitions featuring traditional clothes, instruments and tools from the mystical Sufis.

Watch a short film about the famous mystic Rumi and enjoy classical Turkish music during a concert performed by a traditional orchestra. Then prepare to be mesmerized as a Whirling Dervish ceremony begins, compete with 360-degree special effects and a beautiful, historic setting.

This evening of cultural music and dance lasts approximately one hour and seating is first booked, first served. The Whirling Dervish ceremony has been preserved on UNESCO’s list of Intangible Heritage of Humanity and is an approximately 800-year-old Turkish tradition.

This show is so boring. Everyone in the theatre was falling asleep. People were leaving early and on their phones. The dancers bow about 100 times; they do the same thing (spinning throughout the entire show. No imagination has been used in this show. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.I was far from the exit so I couldn't escape.

Wonderful!. The lights and projections added to what was an incredibly special experience. Lovely venue, easily located. Would definitely recommend.

It was a very interesting and beautiful experience. We collected our tickets from the ticket counter in Hodjapasha theatre. We got fantastic seats. Theater was easy to find - it is clearly visible from the main street just before the Koska sweets shop if you approach from Sultanahmet. Come at least 20 minutes in advance as there is a queue to get inside which moves fast and you get free refreshments as well.
