The Lion and Safari Park is a 2 km² (500 acre) wildlife park situated in the North-west province of South Africa.

The park is situated near Lanseria Airport and Fourways and is within distance of Johannesburg and Pretoria. It has a large variety of predators and large herbivores indigenous to South Africa.

The Lion Park is home to over 80 lions including the rare white lions and many other carnivores such as cheetah, African wild dog, spotted hyena, leopard, and a wide variety of antelope which roam freely in the antelope area.There are 4 drive-through camps (lion and wild dog) where you can get up close and personal with some of natures most beautiful animals.

We really enjoyed this tour. Much more than we thought. The lion park is big, very beautiful, clean, extremely well maintained. the experience of interacting with the lion ups was well worth it. Nice way to spend a few hours in Johannesburg.
