After dining on an all-you-can-eat Hawaiian luau buffet at the Kaanapali Sunset Luau, you'll experience an exciting and colorful presentation of Polynesian dances from Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, Rarotonga, New Zealand and Samoa, set to pulsating, syncopated drum beats.

There's the celebratory festival dances of Tahiti, the fierce warrior dances of Fiji, the exotic hypnotizing dances of the Tuamotus, the legendary dance of the Hawaiian princess Kalua and the intriguing fire-knife dance of Samoa.

We had a very nice time. We got there a little later than recommended (Lyft driver error) and sat in the second last row of tables. Still a very good time. Get there early!

We were really excited about the luau at the Sheraton and understood from the website that is started at 6:30 doors open at 5:30. We arrived in the event area by 6:10 and the place was full and people have finished eating and the entertainment was about to start. Trying to eat and watch the show. People at our table had booked online that day and said the website had said the time we said but they had checked with the hotel and they said they could go in at 4:45. The event ended at 7:15 and we were left very disappointed especially after the amount we had paid. We just hope that the website event time would match the actual time or make it more clear. Ingrid
