Stop At: Kopan Monastery, Kathmandu Nepal

To understand the Buddhist temples in Kathmandu and Buddhist religious backgrounds of the people of Nepal. Two of the most important religious sites are the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Boudhanath and Swoyambhunath including another site of Nepal famous Monastery - Kopan.

The tour begins with a private car coming to the hotel in Kathmandu at 9 am. The drive to Kopan is quick and relaxing in the private car takes an hour to reach Kopan. Explore the Kopan Monastery and around 10.30 am you are welcome to attend the Daily Dharma Talk (Mo - Fri). Explore around Kopan Monastery with the guide and enjoy for lunch in the Kopan café (Lunch is not included on the package) seeing the beautiful Kathmandu valley.

Stop At: Boudhanath Stupa, Boudh Boudha, Kathmandu 44600 Nepal

it is a quick trip to Boudhanath arrives at about 1.30 pm. This is the largest Buddhist Stupa in Nepal and the third largest in the world. It is hard to appreciate the immense size of the Boudhanath Stupa until it is seen in person.

Boudhanath is home of the largest Tibetan community outside of Tibet. The stupa is surrounded by numerous Buddhist monasteries. The guide provided will explain the Buddhist symbolism which at Boudhanath is strongly influenced by Tibetan Buddhism.

Stop At: Swayambhunath Temple, Swayamhu Circle Road, Kathmandu 44620 Nepal

Swoyambhunath stupa is another important part to explore for Buddhist hub. It is the highest point of Kathmandu valley and able to see the 360-degree view of Kathmandu Valley from the top. Explore around terrace steps, stupas, shopping centers, and World peace pond offer you unique part of Swoyambhunath stupas.

It is also called ‘Monkey Temple” because of all the rhesus monkeys that call this place home. Their many antics delight visitors as they are always doing something interesting.
