Tour departs every day at 9 AM from a central location in El Poblado, with a stop at Monaco building where Pablo lived, you will be unable to get in due to the fact the building is falling apart. A good introduction to the early days of Pablo to see how they fought the status quo by building his penthouse in one of the most elite suburbs. Then heading south towards the neighborhood where Pablo grew up, a humble community that once had the highest income on earth when they became part of Pablo´s payroll.

Stop At: Escaleras Electricas De La Comuna 13, Carrera 110, Medellin Colombia

Next at La Catedral, Pablo´s private prison, lush hillside to enjoy panoramic city views and to visualize how he decided to work with the Colombian government at one point.

The tour leaves La Catedral as you are informed about Escobar´s escape and the upcoming pursuit that lasted 18 months until he finally got caught. At Los Olivos community, visit the block and the houses where Pablo got shot. Was it suicide or what has exactly happened? Make your own conclusions after hearing your guide´s information.

I had a lot of fun on my Escobar tour. If you're expecting scenes from Narcos, you might be disappointed. But for me it was awesome to see this stuff in real life. I enjoyed every site and I found the drive around Medellín to be very pleasant and beautiful. My guide Julio was great. And if you're in Colombia and are upset upon hearing Spanish, then you shouldn't come. Tour is good for open-minded, interested people.
