Enjoy a day filled with some of the best things in life!
Wine production in the Mornington Peninsula region dates back to 1886 and is uniqely recognised for producing high quality cool climate varieties, similar to those of the great wine producing regions of France.
Stop At: T'Gallant, 1385 Mornington-Flinders Rd Main Ridge, Main Ridge, Victoria 3928 Australia
Our first tasting for the day is at the wonderful T'Gallant winery, where you will get the opportunity to try a variety of styles.
It began in 1990 with the planting of Pinot Grigio vines at two vineyards on the Mornington Peninsula. To their surprise, the wines made from the different vineyards showed two distinctive expressions of the same grape variety. One had a crisp Pinot Grigio style typical of northern Italy, while the other showed richer, more luscious characters typical of Pinot Gris in northern France
This discovery inspired them to venture to Friuli in Italy and Alsace in France to learn more about the remarkable Pinot Gris grape variety and to witness its true versatility of styles.
Today Pinot Gris/Grigio is one of Australia's most popular varietals and T'Gallant has continued a tradition of producing benchmark examples alongside other fresh, food-friendly wines with personality ever since.
Duration: 45 minutes
Stop At: Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm, 244 Shands Rd, Main Ridge, Victoria 3928 Australia
At this stop, we get to sample the cider, sweet liquerur adn freshly grown strawberries. If time permits guests can pick-your-own strawberries (at own expense) however this is a seasonal activity.
Today, Sunny Ridge grows berries – strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries - at our farms on the Mornington Peninsula and Queensland, and our consumers enjoy the highest quality strawberries all year round.
Duration: 30 minutes

Really nice day, loved the cheese. The wine tasting could have been more extensive.
Scenery was breathtaking, food and wine wonderful and tour guide highly entertaining. Enjoyed every moment of this day trip!
We thoroughly enjoyed our day out with Driver/Guide Adrian. There was a variety of interesting visits and activities, in a very relaxed schedule. All of the 'tastings' and lunch were delicious. Highly recommended!
great overview of peninsula
The tour was fantastic. Adrian our guide was great and really knowledgeable. It was a fantastic tour that had a bit of everything, cheese, strawberries, cider and wine. Best wine tour I have done so far.
We had a great day. Even though I came for the wine, tasting the amazing Cider was very delicious! Everything about this trip is good, I can only recommend it!
The tour was amazing. Our tour guide Simon Q was fantastic. There waz never a dull moment and it was simply a fun and food filled trip! Highly recommended!
My husband and I took this tour on New Year's Eve and it was a wonderful way to spend the day. The best part of our trip was our guide, Leon, who was not only knowledgable and interesting, but unbelievably kind as well. We were picked up near our apartment and drove about an hour to our first stop at a goat farm for a cheese tasting. You could also order coffee and cheese to take home here there is a cooler in the van to keep it in throughout the day. It was a bit cool when we started out but the sun came out and warmed us considerably by the end of the day. I would recommend bringing both a light jacket and sunglasses/sunscreen. From there, we visited 3 wineries, a chocolate shop where we had a delicious lunch, a cider room for a tasting, and a strawberry farm. The van is a smooth and comfortable ride and the stay at each location was a good amount of time, probably between 30 minutes and an hour each. Leon was kind enough to drop us back in town in spite of the impending New Year's Eve traffic. Once back, we realized we had mistakenly grabbed his bottle of wine instead of our own. As we were leaving town the next day and staying at an apartment instead of a hotel, the trade off was going to be a bit tricky. Leon went above and beyond by meeting us at the restaurant we were having dinner at by bike due to road closures! with our bottle and insisting we keep his to enjoy as well. The entire day was wonderful, but it is really Leon's kindness that stuck in our memories. Thank you, Leon!! Abbey and Ross
