What more can you say about seeing some of the world's best most exclusive high performance cars right in their own back yard? Our tour guide spent many years working for Lamborghini so she was very knowledgeable of the inner workings. Of course her bias fell heavily towards Lambo and you could tell Ferrari was just in the wrong neighborhood ;) The Lambo museum is a little disappointing. We were envious of others not in our tour getting to go into the factory. Pagani is well, PAGANI! Enjoyed going on the factory floor and seeing so much eye candy in the works. What a place! Ferrari is the legend. It's so good to finally see it in person and be able to make a more personal connection. It's one thing to see a Ferrari F1 car on television and a completely different one to be standing at the Ferrari gate. Of course what visit to Ferrari would be complete without actually driving one? Driving the 2018 F488 spider through the streets of Maranello was unforgettable and certainly one of the pinnacles of our trip. My suggestion, bring lots of money and spend it all! Great fun.

What a fantastic tour! The day started with an easy train ride from Florence to Bologna, then a quick walk to the hotel across the street from the train station to meet our tour guide Isabella. The bus was air conditioned and comfortable and it was a beautiful drive through Emilia Romagna to the Lamborghini museum where we met our Lamborghini tour guide Christina. The museum was well laid out and the cars were fantastic. Then it was on to Pagani, where they are assembling the cars by hand, no robots here! Pagani is, hands down, our dream car now. Ferrari was our final automobile stop, and the museum was nice, it seemed to be more focused on the Formula 1 cars than the street cars though. Our final stop on the tour was for lunch at a local restaurant for a multi course meal of local favorites, including freshly made pasta. This was truly a highlight of our trip to Italy. We would highly recommend this tour for all car enthusiasts.
