Cathedral Square (or Sobornaya Square) is located in the territory of the Moscow Kremlin.

There are three cathedrals at the square: the Cathedral of the Dormition, the Cathedral of the Archangel, and the Cathedral of the Annunciation. One of the tallest structures in the square (and formerly in all of Russia) is Ivan the Great Bell Tower, which also separates Sobornaya Square from Ivanovskaya Square. The present look of the square dates to the XVI century, when the churches located here were rebuilt and the Ivan The Great churchbell tower was erected.

Cathedral Square is famous as the site of coronation and funeral processions of all the Russian tsars, patriarchs, and Grand Dukes of Moscow. Even today, the square is used in the inauguration ceremony of the President of Russia.

Electronic tickets need to be exchanged on the day of visit at the box office Excursion Center in the Alexander Garden, offices number: 6,7, and 8. A blank ticket is issued upon presentation of a document addressed to the person registered during the ordering process. Group ticket is issued for a specified number of visitors. For tickets, which indicate the start time of examination (session), the exchange is carried out for 45 minutes prior to the Event. For any other ticket: no later than 45 minutes before the museum closes.
