It was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656 , and was inaugurated by an Imam from Bukhara, present-day Uzbekistan.The mosque was completed in 1656 AD with three great gates, four towers and two 40 metres high minarets constructed with strips of red sandstone and white marble

This was such a good tour. The guide was so easy to get on with and made for a relaxing and informative tour. I would recommend without hesitation

We had such a wonderful time on this tour. It was fun from beginning to end. Our guide was professional and pleasant. His energy was wonderful to be part of. We tried all sorts of food and transportation. We honestly felt we didn't want the tour to end. He patterned the tour to our abilities and interests. We completely loved this tour. Highly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to explore.
