When your cruise ship docks at the Villefranche-sur-Mer port, just up the coast from Nice, your guide will pick you up from the cruise terminal in a 8-person luxury minivan and whisk you away on your half-day shore excursion to Antibes, Cannes and St-Paul-de-Vence.

Admire views of the French Riviera as you drive south along the Mediterranean coast to picturesque Antibes, a popular seaside resort town. Hop out to walk along the harbor, wander the town’s charming streets and listen as your guide points out historical points of interest. Then visit the world-famous harbor of Billionaire's Quay, home to some of the world’s largest and most impressive yachts.

Continue south along the coast to the chic city of Cannes. Marvel at gorgeous beaches as you drive along Croisette Boulevard (Promenade de la Croisette), lined with luxury hotels, expensive shops and restaurants. Arrive at the Festival Palace (Palais des Festivals et des Congrès), where the Cannes International Film Festival is held each year. See celebrity handprints on the walls and feel like a star as you mount the steps!

Take a different route on the way back to Villefranche, this time through the beautiful Provençal countryside. Stop to explore the fortified medieval village of St-Paul-de-Vence, the home of many popular actors and artists such as Marc Chagall.

Driver was on time, pleasant, only 4 of us in mini van. Looked great at that point. Once we got en route to Cannes (Cannes film festival was going on next day), the disappointment began. First, he introduced himself as being from Russia, not France. So he did not really act like a tour guide with info. Then, with each stop, he simply dropped us off and told us where he would meet us. More like a taxi service. Cannes was very busy, a city. Antibes was nice but we spent such little time there could not appreciate it. St. Paul de Vence was lovely. We loved the place, but again, too little time there, would have like at least an hour or so. We recommend going to St. Paul de Vence on your own, do not need a tour get a taxi to drop you off and pick you up when you want. Not sure but the train or a bus may stop there too. Other stops were not really worth while. We do not recommend this tour, especially for the money. Same price a cruise ship for some other tours. Took forever to get out of the city, which he drove us through Nice, during rush hour.

This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide, Marion was so informative, charming and friendly. We loved spending time with her and learning so much about the area. What a fantastic way to spend half a day!

Seven people nice minivan. Friendly driver maximized our time even with bad traffic due to Cannes Film Festival.
