Outside the theater La Comédie-Française, meet your fashion-insider guide to begin your private walking tour through one of Paris' most stylish neighborhoods.

This tour was by far one of our most favorite things that we did in Paris. My daughter, who is studying the business side of fashion, and I spent an afternoon touring the high-end fashion district with Ivo as our guide. He shared background information about the designers in this district and talked a lot about the history and ins and outs of the Paris Fashion industry. We enjoyed Ivo's personal stories of working in the industry and appreciated his knowledge and ability to answer our questions. Along the way he pointed out other sites and information about Paris. Wear comfortable shoes you walk for three hours. But we loved it so much that we went back a few days later and shopped in the district. Ivo was a delightful and knowledgeable guide.

I thought I would be getting a tour of all and history of the Paris fashion market. How they came to be the fashion place of the world, especially the couture side of this ..more or less. While I got some of that, I ended walking around the store fronts of various stores in the shopping district and then learned about Coco Chanel. I am not saying the it was terrible but it certainly wasn't what I expected. If you are a major shopper then you would love this. I am a history buff so this really wasn't for me.

This is an AMAZING tour to do. Working with Ivo is the ideal way to learn about the history, but also the CURRENT STATE, of fashion in Paris. Ivo knows a ton and is a pleasure to spend time with. He could relate to my questions but also to my 12-year old daughter's questions. He is very plugged in to the current fashion landscape in Paris. Highly recommend this tour!
