Our first stop is a local beer hall in a former industrial suburb that has become the epicentre of Prague's rough-and-tumble nightlife in recent years. Martin, our guide, was great. Full of knowledge about beer, food and history. Martin was also brave...he took 7 women on a beer pub crawl!! Nice to be immersed in the local pub scene with local beer and food. Would definitely recommend this tour.
We had a great time on this tour! My group had 9 people, plus the awesome guide Guillaume! Four bars, five drinks, and enough to eat for sure! Local foods. Guillaume was SO knowledgeable about the beers and food, and gave great customized recommendations for everybody for whatever else they wanted to do/see/drink/eat in Prague. Would definitely recommend this to anybody!
This tour takes you away from all the tourist spots and lets you eat and drink beer like a local. Adam was a great guide, very friendly and knowledgable. There were 8 of us in this group - 2 sets of 4 people/ Felt very personal and had great conversation. Definitely worth what you pay
This tour was a great way to meet some folks, have good beer and snacks, and to get to know the city a little through the eyes of a local. Dita was an excellent host and helped to make this an enjoyable experience. So glad we made this tour a part of our trip!
We were interested in this beer tour in Prague and had the pleasure of spending the evening with Joanna. She is an extremely outgoing and very knowledgeable person who took the pleasure of her group members seriously. In total, there were 5 couples plus Joanna for our specific tour. I should mention that I'm vegetarian and didn't anticipate being able to eat much on this trip but Joanna did go out of her way to ensure that I was well-fed which I really appreciated. Some other reviews mentioned the need to eat dinner (since the tour only officially promises snacks) but I personally was stuffed by the end of the night so it's possible that your mileage may just vary. The food and beers were delicious and it was nice to escape the very tourist heavy locations in Prague for a little while and see a side of the city that we probably otherwise wouldn't have. Joanna was an excellent companion and guide and even kindly sent us a summary email the following day recapping all the different places we tried and the kinds of beers they had there. Definitely our favorite activity in Prague by far. Thanks again Joanna!
This was a definite must do if you like beer. Our guide Martin was not only knowledgeable about beer and it's history, he provided many facts about Prague and the Czech Republic. Also thanks to his colleague, Adam for adding to the experience.
Casey was an excellent guide and showed us some really local establishments. The snacks were a bit light so eat dinner before you go. The tour was a bit more of a pub crawl i was happy, my wife was ok. We had a blast learning about the beers Czech beer rules! and made great friends that night from Australia, Ireland, UK and the US. Highly recommended!
Great local tour. Great local beer ( plenty of it ) with some good local food ( plenty of it ). Casey was are guide and was extremely knowledgeable about beer and the local Prague area. Most of the tour was outside the tourist area , so was nice to see more of Prague. Price of tour for what you received was very reasonable.
We had a wonderful beer and tapas tour with Lukas. He is obviously very passionate about Prague and of course beer. We went well beyond the typical tourist areas and had a blast. Even in the heat. Lukas even recommended some additional spots to try and everyone we went to was amazing. It was a fabulous tour and would definitely recommend—be sure to request Lukas if you can—he was great!
Jim was a “ fantabulous “ guide. He was very knowledgable with all the choices of beer . His meek and childlike attitude made our group bond very beautifully. By the second pub, we were all sharing stories and experiences like old friends. The tapas he chose too were good and introduced us to Czech taste that we never would’ve known to order on our own. Kudos and more power to you Jim !
