Your off-road tour starts with hotel pickup in Punta Cana. Once you arrive at the starting point, your guide will tell you about the safety and operation of the buggies. Then take the wheel of your own automatic buggy reaching speeds up to 40 miles per hour, and head out on your tour with your guide leading the way.

Drive to places off the beaten track, back roads and dirt/muddy roads, to experience a way of life on the island that has remained mostly unchanged for more than 100 years. Stop at a cave with a freshwater lagoon where you can splash around and rinse off dirt and mud, and then continue driving until you reach Macao Beach. At this beautiful secluded beach, you can cool off in the water, riding the waves into the powder-white shoreline.

After your time at Macao Beach, travel back in your buggy to the starting point for the return transfer to your Punta Cana hotel. Please remember to let us know how you liked it!

The buggy adventure was fun, the beach was beautiful and the cave was awesome. I would of love to stay more in each spot but overall it was a nice afternoon with the family.

Worst excursion I have ever been on. A few other reviews nailed it, but I thought how bad could it be. 1. Transportation to location was an old open air truck and was very uncomfortable. It was 35 minutes late because it had an accident prior to our pick up. 2. Upon arrival, they wanted us to pair up in buggies even though I booked one for each. 3. After refusing to pair up in buggies, they insisted that we pay for a private tour because my soon who was 16 was too young to drive unless on a private tour. he was the only reason I booked the tour. They asked for 50 a person more, I said no more than 20 and settled on 25. I had minimal amount of cash, so i had to use a Credit card and they charged me an 18 fee plus 5 each for a bandana necessary plus you need sunglasses or eye protection. 4. Equipment is old and in bad shape. Best thing about the tour was our guide ChuChu, but he could only do so much. You get sold hard at every stop and feel very pressured. The cave was nice but crowded. The beach was ok, but littered with trash. Save your money and book the hot air ballon ride from Dominican Ballons. The only hot air company in the carribean.

Amazing trip again the staff were excellent when we got there we were aaked as a family.did we wont to do the private tour on our own without all the other people that had book it was 60 dollar for four of us it was well worth it no waiting around we could go fast on the buggy .We got to swim in the most beautiful under water clear water what an experiment

We had a lot of fun on the Buggys, but didn't really get to go very fast on them. The cave swim was awesome and perfect after being in the heat! Macao Beach is absolutely beautiful.
