Our guide did a great job describing fun and useful info about Reykjavik and Iceland. His hints on how to save money were good to know, too. Good sense of humor, too.
it was very informative and our guide was very knowledgeable - it rained the majority of the tour, but the guide provided an umbrella
The guide gave a very animated and informative tour of Reykhavik. It gave us great insight into Icelandic history and culture.
Lalli (owner of Funky Iceland) was excellent. He provided a very comprehensive walking tour with lots of information. This was enhanced by his delightful personality. This walking tour was a “do not miss.”
Our tour guide, Siggy, was great. Really helped us get the lay of the land on our first day. The Cathedral elevator is being renovated so we didn't get to go up, but you can still go inside.
Excellent tour with a friendly guide. Took us to areas in the city which we would have not found by ourselves. Good historical background information.
We had difficulty understanding our tour guide. She was a nice person, but spoke in a low tone-of-voice, with a very strong accent, so we missed a lot of what she said. On a number of occasions, we asked a question and she would look up the answer on her phone. We ended the tour early just so we could get away. Perhaps a different tour guide would have made our experience more positive.
great tour
Great way to get inside scoop, and fun historical facts about the city!
Amazing tour- very long-- we walked over 8 miles. Very knowledgeable guide.
Good and informative tour. We were the only ones on the tour, but the guide carried on regardless, which was nice. Quite a long tour, with a few bits where we seemed to go back on ourselves. And the place where we were meant to finish wasn't available, so we had to go to a new place, which the guide couldn't find not due to lack of knowledge, but because the address she was given was incorrect.
The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. However, she was not easy to find as their was no indincating factor that she was a tour guide. Also, due to other people not being on time she made us wait. It was beyond frigid out and standing outside waiting made us drop off the tour early.
Our guide was great at sharing the history and culture of the Icelandic people. We met at the church and finished at the waterfront. The pacing was leisurely and he'd pause regularly to answer any and all questions.I t was a great thing to do the day we arrived to get oriented to the city and also to pick his brain about restaurants/eateries to take advantage of during our stay..
