Loved using Viator instead of cruise tours. Alot of riding in bus but all tours from Viator were in Mercedes passenger cans or buses.
Our guide Francesca was phenomenal! We were so lucky- she took us to the best cultural landmarks as well as a cute pizza shop and we loved every minute of our tour with her- I’m so happy we got to see Rome and I have her to thank! :) The van was spacious and comfortable with working AC, directions were excellent and the audio guide was a nice touch. Very happy to recommend!
When I had booked this tour I had booked 2 vehicles to accommodate our big group of 23. They had confirmed with us that it would just be us and no other travelers. When we arrived at port they put all of us on a large tour bus with another couple, which is fine. However, there was no audio guide in English, the bus driver couldn't speak any English at all. We got no historical descriptions of the sites we were visiting prior to getting off the bus. He would sign language us what time to return to the bus at each stop. Then there was no bottled water provided either, which was said in the description of the tour. We were disappointed in this excursion.
