Day 1: After your arrival into San Jose Airport, you’ll find the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cariari shuttle which will take you to the hotel for the first night. You will be free to explore on your own for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Breakfast will be ready at 6:30am for you bright and early on the second day at the hotel. At breakfast you will meet the rest of your group. After breakfast you will depart for the Poás Volcano National Park or Coffee Plantation Tour (Sometimes in the year the Volcano is closed due the activity) Entrance to the park is included. Next, you’ll take a short drive from the Poás Volcano National Park or the Coffee Plantation Tour and stop at La Paz Waterfall Gardens; one of the most popular natural attractions in Costa Rica. From La Paz Waterfall Gardens you’ll continue the adventure towards Costa Rica’s Northern Plains, after check in, you can enjoy access to Mountain Paradise Hotel.

Day 3: A day of adventure, you can select between a national park hike or an exhilarating white water rafting, the day finishes with the magnificent hot springs at Paradise park. You can enjoy the rest of the day as you wish.

Day 4: Time for some relaxing at the beach! Today you will visit Costa Rica’s world famous gold coast. You will stay for 2 nights at the beautiful Villas Playa Samara resort or the newest property in the Carrillo Beach Nammbú Ocean view resort, right on the water in beautiful Samara or Carrillo beach.

Day 5: Recharge your batteries lounging by the pool or choose from a varied array of activities available for purchase. You can also choose to relax in two of the best beaches in Guanacaste, with warm haute colored sand, tranquil waters and the amazing view of Isla Chora.

Day 6: Today you will be driven to Monteverde, the cloud forest. You will trek through the cloud forest on board the Sky Walk, Tram and Trek Tour. After trekking through the cloud forest, you will have the remainder of the evening at your disposal to either discover the village of Monteverde or relax and enjoy the amenities of Hotel El Establo where you will be staying for the night.

Day 7: Manuel Antonio National Park is on the agenda after breakfast on Day 7. On the way you will stop at Tarcoles River Bridge to spot wild crocodiles. Afterwards, you will go on a beautiful guided hike of the park. Also, explore the most unspoiled beaches that Costa Rica has to offer. You will then check-in at the brand new Tramonto Hotel or a similar residence in Hermosa Beach. Spend the evening at leisure.

Day 8: Time to go home! Departure is at 7am and you will be taken back to the airport in San Jose.

Had a wonderful time on this tour. Volcanoes, waterfalls, monkeys and so much more. Hotels were very nice. Giovanni was a great tour guide. Marcello took great pics (pic package is a good deal) and Luna did great driving. Thank you guys for a great adventure Lee Ann (Beverly ) and Sean

The Tour guide Hirro and the driver Eduardo were excellent, answered all questions. Hirro's knowledge on the Flora and Fauna of the different bio region of CR was great. Only issue we had was the back office did not communicate to us the change in the Hotel in San Jose and no one was responding to the phone calls. We call Viator and they were able to contact the Monkey Tour. Finally after 2 hours a shuttle came to pick us up to Hotel.

My fiancée, son and I just returned home after an unforgettable vacation. We would like to thank Monkey Tours for they professionalism during the whole process - from ordering throughout the actual Tour. Also a big shout out to: Antonio, the driver who took good care of the passengers/ clients and our luggage the entire tour. Antonio, finished every day cleaning go his bus and always welcomed us back with a smile. Marcelo, the photographer took amazing pictures and surely understood that privacy of the clients was important as well. Not too much, nor too little ! Thanks Marcelo, You Rock ! At last, Albert our Tour guide. He is the Costa Rician version of David Attenborough, but with far more humour. Always on the spot and you feel his passion of his job. Gracias The reason for not rating the tour 5 stars is due to the fact that we did have enough free time on the nice hotels we were staying at. But spend the time instead exploring beautiful Costa Rica - so guess it’s a matter of what you are up for. A day in CR with 30 hours would be perfect ! I would definitely recommend Monkey Tour to everyone and will contact them again if I ever have the chance of going back to amazing Costa Rica Pura Vida :)
