After your choice of early or late morning pickup from your San Jose hotel, travel by comfortable minivan or coach 1.5 hours to the rainforest where your zipline adventure begins. When you arrive, your expert guide provides instruction, a safety briefing, and your equipment. The fun and friendly staff helps you get outfitted in the harness, gloves, helmet and other gear.
Once you’re suited up, take a 20-minute walk along a trail in the rainforest to reach the first platform. Your experienced guide shows you how to clip into the zipline and helps you overcome any jitters before you take your first flight.
Step off the platform and experience the thrill of soaring through the rainforest canopy by zipline! Go from platform to platform, gliding past waterfalls and huge oak and banyan trees en route. Get great views of the lush rolling hills of the Central Valley and the Pacific Ocean in the distance. Listen to the chirping of birds and bugs as you take in the rainforest on this amazing adventure!
After an exhilarating 2.5-hour zipline experience, return to earth and say farewell to the ziplining crew. If your tour is in the morning, head to a local restaurant where a delicious lunch is served. Enjoy the casado (daily special), a Costa Rican meal of rice, black beans, plantains, salad, a tortilla, and an optional entrée that may include chicken or other meats. After about an hour for lunch, your coach returns you to your San Jose hotel where your tour ends.

Not too far from San Jose. Outstanding and knowledgeable team. Awesome location. Excellent equipment. Great lunch. Exceeded my expectations.
Great overall adventure. Picked on on time from our San Jose hotel in a minivan. Driver was polite, safe and informative. The zip lining experience was totally awesome with increasing fun I clung a Tarzan swing and a Superman(on your stomach ride). The zip line staff were super knowledgeable and safe. A lot of fun and very reasonably priced.
The guides were all very friendly. They also showed excitement during appropriate times of the tour. The ziplines give you all sorts of views and action. The finale Superman line was tremendously excellent.
This tour was amazing!
The two guys who took us ziplining were amazing. We both had a great time on this tour. The only problem was I booked the 12:30 pm tour. I received confirmation that I would be picked up at 8:30 am, which I felt was extremely early. We were picked up promptly at 8:30 am however, we were the only people on the tour. We were back at our hotel by 1pm. I wish I would have known that we really weren't scheduled for a 12:30 pm tour so I could have made plans for the afternoon.
This was my first zip line experience, and I was very nervous. The experience was absolutely amazing, and the team of guides took great care of us! They made the experience safe and enjoyable. We laughed a lot, and we're awed by the scenery and the excitement. Pura vida!
This was nothing short of AMAZING -- from our Viator guide, who picked us up at our hotel, to the actual Canopy Tour itself. I would do this again in a heartbeat. The guides on the actual Canopy Tour were EXCEPTIONAL. Patient, personable and they were very clear about safety. Not to be missed. Highly recommended. They deserve the gratuities!
