Tenerife Full-Day Guided Tour With Teide National Park and Masca

We start from the south of Tenerife and then visit:

Vilaflor de Chasna, it is the highest town in Spain to 1450 meters in its territory where we will see the Pino Gordo, considered one of the largest trees of Spain. The largest of its kind in the world! From this point we will enter first in the Natural Park of Corona Forestal "the bigget's protected area of Canary Island" and then to the Teide National Park, declared in 2007 world heritage' from UNESCO. It is the most visited park in Europe and the 2nd most visited in the world. The Teide is the highest peak in Spain, the highest among all land area of the Atlantic Ocean is the third largest volcano in the world. we will stops at Los Roques de García and San José mine where we discover a differente kind of lava flows, volcanic cones with bizarre shapes, harmonies of colors from brown leopard, yellow ocher, through green copper up to the deepest black that in the winter months contrasts with the pure white snow! Besides all this you will have the chance to observe the many endemic species of flora and fauna. Certainly a fascinating natural spectacle. 

We will continue too La Orotava Valley to discover the wonderful landscapes of the northern area and to get to the homonymous city where we will visit the concepcion church. The famous explorer Alexander Von Humboldt described this area among the most beautiful in the world! For lunch we will stop in a Guachinche "a typical restaurant in the northern area, unknown to most tourists" to taste typical products! After lunch we drive to Icod De Los Vinos where we see the famous plant "Millenary Dragon", the symbol of Tenerife flora. During the visit you can taste excellent typical products. We head towards Garachico, a town founded by the Italian banker Christopher Da Ponte in 1496, which became until 1706, thanks to its position, the main port of exchange between America and Europe. Its importance came to end when two lava flows destroyed part of the city and the port, making it impossible to land the ships. From here we will continue to Rural Park of Teno for the last stop in Masca, a village located in the deepest canyon of Canary Island. Surrounded by green mountains is one of the most charming places of the island.
