Meet your guide and your small group outside the impressive Waldorf Astoria Hotel to start your 3-hour journey in the “Gallery of World Architecture” on the Bund. Inside Waldorf, you will see the British bar and hear about its history being Shanghai Association, once the 1st KFC in China and now a luxurious hotel.

Stop At: Pudong Development Bank (Fazhan Yinhang), 12 The Bund, Shanghai China

Then, you will step inside the ancient Greek style Shanghai Pudong Development Bank building topped with a huge dome, which was acclaimed as the “finest building to be found anywhere between the Suez Canal and the Bering Strait” in the 20th century. Admire the breathtaking mosaic fresco on the ceiling consists of 33 paintings.

Continue to walk into Bund 18, UNESCO Heritage Award in 2006, and see how it balances historic preservation with new commercial functions.

Then, you will enter one of the most legendary hotels on the Bund---Heping Fandian (Fairmont Peace Hotel). Hear about the success story of Victor Sassoon who built this building while your guide points out some of the most splendid Art Deco features inside and outside the building. You will also explore a secret museum of Peace Hotel history that people hardly know.

Pass through the beautiful Garden Bridge and have a great view of both the Bund and the Pudong New Area. Your tour concludes in Huangpu Park near the waterfront of Huangpu River.
