Meet your experienced private shopping guide at your central Shanghai hotel or another central location (depending on the size of your group) at your desired time.

Then, set off on your fun shopping adventure, traveling with your guide to different retail locations during your tour.

In general, your first stop will be the popular Shanghai South Bund Fabric Market, home to hundreds of tailors’ stalls selling a huge variety of fabrics. The experienced tailors will use the fabrics available to make up garments and customize shirts, suits, dresses, and coats for you, and also sell scarves, accessories, handbags, gloves, and belts.

Next, continue to either Hongqiao Pearl Market or Shanghai AP Xingyang Fashion and Gift Market, where you can find all kinds of souvenirs, tea, pearls, porcelains, and electronics, together with good quality knock-off purses, watches, shoes, and other wares.

Your shopping guide will advise you on how to bargain with the local vendors, so you can enjoy the fun and interest of bartering for the best prices.

If you have any particular shopping requirements, such as visiting the shops on the famous Nanjing Road, feel free to discuss them with your guide. As your tour is private, the itinerary can be customized to meet your interests.

Plus, if you want to try some local food during your tour, simply ask your guide to make some good recommendations.

After your shopping, your tour ends with a drop-off back at your central hotel.

We had a great time! Picked up on time by our private coach, given tips on how to barter with local merchants (they can be tough negotiators). All in all it was good to have someone that made sure you weren’t taken advantage of and was able to save you time getting to the best locations. great experience

Sunny was very nice and knew places to go for bargains. She will also help you negotiate pricing. My major complaint is that I told her ahead of time that I wanted to look for an antique mah-jong set from China. She did not where to go to find an antique set or a nice set of mahjong game. She only knew where to go for very inexpensive sets which are sold in most tourist shops. I wished she had told me that before our tour then I would have set lower expectations for my private shopping trip or allow have more time to search on my own.

Sunny is great! She called us the day before the tour and asked us what we were looking for at the market. She also recommended we bring either clothes we loved or pictures of the clothes we might to have made. From the pictures alone she lead us to vendors who have made those sort of items for her past clients. She also asked us for help in vetting a vendor when my other half fell in love with a jacket at a booth Sunny had never dealt with before. The vendor knew Sunny by reputation alone and Sunny was able to negotiate a fair price for the jacket. She then followed up with us the next day after we had picked up our clothes to ensure we were happy with the items. Great resource, fun person and tuff negotiator on our behalf. Will definately be calling upon her services the next time we are in Shanghai.

We took our 2 teenage daughters on a 4 hr shopping tour with Sunny, hitting the Pearl Market and Fabric/Tailor markets. We had a blast, and Sunny's help was fantastic! We would never have been able to do this without her. She helped us negotiate for a cashmere winter coat for my daughter, a silk dress, and several custom made shirts for my husband. She also helped us pick high quality, fresh water pearl earrings for both girls at very reasonable prices. She has a wonderful, positive attitude and was a real pleasure to meet. If you are looking for a great shopping guide, look no further. Sunny was terrific!
