At 10am, you will be picked up from your Hotel and brought to the Farmhouse where you’ll roll up your sleeves and prepare a traditional Amalfi Coast meal. The cooking class begins with a breakfast of local pastries and cappuccinos on the terrace.

After breakfast, it’s time to start cooking. The Amalfi Coast is famous for its fresh seafood, home-made pasta, citrus-forward drinks and dishes (including limoncello), and other beautifully fresh fare. Your chef will teach you about the cuisine, and instruct you in a number of professional tricks and tips, as you work to prepare a multi-course feast, from appetizers to desserts. This small group class caters to groups numbering between two and 10 people, which means you’re guaranteed personal attention and instruction.

Once the meal has been prepared, sit down for a languorous lunch and enjoy the fruits of your labor, complemented by glasses of local wine and spectacular views . The class concludes at the end of your meal around 3pm, then the transfer from your Hotel.

My wife and I had the pleasure of taking a cooking class with a chef that was excellent. We learned a few new cooking skills and were provided the recipes so we could recreate the meal at home. We prepared a 3 course meal that we had the opportunity to enjoy with the 3 brothers and their mother that own the restaurant and the chef. We will definitely do this again when we return to Sorrento.

We were picked up at our hotel in Sorento by one of the farm’s family members . Run by a mother and 3 sons this authentic farm and restaurant is just 15 minutes outside of Sorento City Center . We arrived to the farm and met the other family members . We were served delicious cappachino made with fresh milk from the neighbors cow ! The milk was sterilized but not pasteurized so it had a bit of an unfamiliar taste .. but indeed very authentic. We then went to the garden to pick the fresh vegetables we would need when we started to prepare our 3 course lunch . The chef was wonderful and patient as we prepared a Caprese Cake , Vegetable Starter , Nochi with fresh tomato sauce and cheese and fish stuffed with mashed potatoes all seasoned with fresh herbs we picked as well .It was a wonderful 4-5 hour experience with the family who all ate lunch with us !They served their own wine from their vineyards too with olives and peppers also grown in their land ! I highly highly recommend this as you will see authenticity of the region
