I did this tour with my family and everyone enjoyed it! The company was very organized - as soon as we bought our tickets, I received an email with information about meeting at the train station. Once we arrived, we were greeted by an employee who gave us our tickets and told us who our tour guide would be. We rode the train to Pompeii and met our tour guide by the entrance and were able to skip the line. Our guide, Francesca, was great! We were given headphones that broadcasted what she was saying, so we were able to stay with the walking tour yet explore on our own in the area as well and there was no problem hearing her. We walked through Pompeii backwards and ended in the main square, which helped a bit with the crowds. We say lots of cool areas and it helped to have a knowledgeable tour guide explain as we visited the the ruins of homes, storefronts, the brothel, the amphitheater, etc.

Pompei was interesting but very crowded. The crowds made it difficult to hear the tour guide.
