Salvatore, our skipper, saved the day! After a little mix up on the pick up at our hotel, we made our way to the port and had to wait a bit for Salvator to make his way back into the harbor to pick us up but we were assured we would still get the full 8 hour day to Capri. It was a pretty choppy day on the water but Salvatore made it smooth sailing. Because of the high seas we were not able to go in the Blue Grotto but we did get to see the Green and White Grotto and the famous Faraglioni Rocks. We also anchored and had a beautiful and relaxing swim in the gorgeous blue water. Salvatore called and made a lunch reservation for us at a wonderful restaurant, the Siren in Capri. We decided to walk from the harbor up to Capri instead of waiting for a taxi. Capri square was very crowded so we took a taxi up to Ani Capri and walked around and enjoyed some gelato before taking the taxi back down to the harbor where Salvatore was waiting for us. He had beverages for us on the boat and we asked to take another swim before docking. We anchored near Sorrento and swam and then enjoyed his Mother's homemade Limoncello and some Proseco before heading back to the dock. All in all a great day!
