This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Hunter Valley Wine Tasting Tours, U 1 24 Burrows Rd St Peters, Sydney, New South Wales 2044 Australia

After pickup by luxury bus in Sydney, your day trip starts by heading up the Pacific Highway and M1 Highway to Hunter Valley, stopping 90 minutes from Sydney for a tea or coffee break (own expense). (If you're staying in the Hunter Valley region, you can be picked up later in the morning from Cessnock or Pokolbin.)

Throughout the day, you'll visit four wineries for tastings. Wine tasting is accompanied by a detailed description of the vineyard, the vintage you're tasting, and the style of wine typically made by the winemaker. Lunch is enjoyed at one of several venues, depending on the day, and you'll also visit cheese and chocolate outlets, which are popular stops in wine country. The tour ends in Hunter Valley in the mid-afternoon.

If you're traveling back to Sydney, relax on your coach for the return drive to the central business district, where your day trip ends with drop-off.

The amount of tastings that we had was amazing. Our driver Neil did a great job and was very hospitable. Absolutely recommendable.

The day did not get off to a good start. They neglected to collect us from our collection point and we had to catch a taxi to where the bus was waiting. While they said about reimbursement of taxi there was no follow-up so we wore the cost. At the end of the tour our drop off was rushed and we missed retrieving a bottle of wine. They knew a left over bottle belonged to us as we received a call about another traveller who was also missing a bottle and mentioned during the call they had ours. After attempting to call them back to discuss further we were unable to contact except via email which I did. When I received a call they said they would have to investigate. No response has been received on so called investigation. No doubt another bottle they can add to the Christmas party. If you do decide to go make sure you get everything at the end of the tour and make them wait till you check.

Good trip to Hunter. Genial South African driver, efficient timings, largely good wineries Macquariedale decidedly average ,moderate lunch . Worth doing ,but they need to be more open about which wineries are to be visited at time of booking

This was a fabulous time. The driver was wonderful and fun! The wines were excellent. I would definitely do this tour again and would recommend!

Our tour was amazing, Hunter Valley is beautiful! Our driver, Bill, chose the perfect wineries to bring us too. He also made two additional stops for us to do an olive oil tasting and vodka tasting - he made the trip even more incredible. If you have the option to request a driver, definitely go with him!

This was a very enjoyable day. All the winery's we visited were very good, the pace of the tour was good and most importantly the wine tastings were very enjoyable and generous with their wine!. The tasting notes which accompanied several of the tastings really helped and were good to take away for future reference. Jeff, our guide was hilarious - his anecdotes kept the customers entertained, although some of his local knowledge could have been better. All in all I would recommend this tour.
