Before the adventure
• Gear distribution: You will be given full protection gears including biking helmet, elbow & knee pads and gloves. These gears play an important role as they provide full protection during the tour.
• Bike adjustment: Our expert guide will adjust the bike to the perfect condition to fit your weight and height. It’s also the time to have a brief instruction on how to make your bike move as part of your body.Adventure begins
• Warm up: We will ride our bikes through a trail to warm up. During this time, you will be amazed by the scenery in this area. Our guide is able to give you an introduction about the mining history and the geography in Jiufen and Jinguashi area.
• Biking through the mining area: Our guide will lead you to the old mining area. The condition of the road becomes a bit tricky, it tests your skill to overcome the uneven surface. Don’t worry, our guide will give you some tips for this challenge.
• Biking through the forest: The surface of the forest is less tricky, but it also provides an exhilarating experience. Riding through forest makes you feel the speed, alive and fulfilling.
• Exciting downhills: After you are more comfortable to deal with different surfaces, it’s about time to challenge downhill. This part is the climax and highlight of this tour. Our guide is going to provide more tips on how to move your body to balance during turns, downhill slopes and obstacles. We promise you will LOVE it and want to do it again and again!

If I don't have any MTB experience, am I able to do it?
Yes, you are able to join our MTB tour even if you don’t have any experience. Since we only make this tour private, it means we only take care of you and make this tour suitable for your situation. However, decent fitness level is required for this tour.
Are there any uphill slopes during the tour?
Yes, there is still some uphill slopes involved in the tour. No worries, the amount of uphill slopes is not much, so it won’t be too physical demanding.
Is there any protection during the tour?
You will be given full protection gears including helmet, elbow & knee pads and gloves to prevent any possible common injuries.
Where do we have the lunch during the tour?
You need to prepare your own food. Our guide will find a good spot to enjoy lunch during the tour.
