Not sure why the Monster Cafe is a must see, but all I can say don’t go out if you eat to see it. Although the decor, crazy and eccentric the food was terrible and the service not much better. The Robot show....welll, you have to see to understand it. It’s weird, it’s impressive and all together entertaining enough.

This package was fantastic. Getting this beforehand was a great idea, because not only did us save us a couple yen, but it also secured our reservations at both spots. Especially at the Robot Cabaret show, which had a tendency to fill up pretty fast at night. The instructions on the tickets were easy-peasy to understand, and we had the time of our lives at the Kawaii monster cafe. Also the timing between the two events was perfect, and we were able to commute, and grab a drink after the Kawaii Monster cafe, before our Robot Cabaret show began. The staff at both places were friendly and prompt and like everyone else in Japan, so so so so soooo nice! If you're interested in a wild and wacky evening that's non-stop neon, costumes, and food that isn't even close to the color its supposed to be, get this package! You won't regret it!

This tour was fun! We enjoyed the experience at the Kawaii Monster Cafe the food was better than we'd expected based on reviews, although there were hardly any other people in the restaurant at 6pm so it was a little bit awkward, although we wished we'd gotten a little more food. Getting from the cafe to the robot show was not difficult, but I would advise people to book this tour toward the later part of your stay in Tokyo so you're familiar with the public transit and have no issues getting from place to place. The robot show was very tourist-oriented and VERY loud bring earplugs, plus the attempts to sell drinks, popcorn, and souvenirs to the audience were really annoying it was a barrage of constant signs like only 10 minutes left to buy drinks, followed by people going around with carts of drinks, followed by an announcement to go buy drinks, etc and that was frustrating. The seats are very tight and uncomfortable-- if you're tall, prepare to feel squeezed I'm 6'4 and it was not pleasant. I'm glad we did it once, and we did have fun it's definitely unique!, but the overall hey this show is for tourists, hello tourists, look at this show for tourists, please buy drinks vibe got old really fast. Still, this whole experience is a very uniquely Tokyo thing and you should try it if it's your first time in Tokyo.
