Meet a driver at your Vancouver hotel or the cruise port, and then transfer to the ferry terminal for priority boarding on the British Columbia Ferry service. The cruise across the Strait of Georgia travels through the breathtaking Gulf Islands, and it's perfect for spotting waterside cottages, lighthouses, and wildlife.

Upon arrival in Victoria, the first stop is Butchart Gardens, where you'll find more than 900 varieties of flowers and plants. Take your time while wandering the gardens, with the option to grab a quick bite to eat at a nearby restaurant.

Next, head to downtown Victoria to see the British Columbia Legislature Buildings, the chateau-style Fairmont Empress Hotel, and Beacon Hill Park. If desired, enjoy a leisurely lunch downtown at an ocean-facing restaurant, or stop for the classic high tea at the Empress. At the end of a day in Victoria, you'll return to Vancouver via ferry, then meet a driver for the return trip to your original departure point.

We have taken many day trips with Viator in many countries but this was by far the most enjoyable and professional.our driver /guide Eric made it very relaxing for a full day trip.

We were picked up in a van accommodating 6 people and 2 tour guides. I liked that it was a smaller group. More personal. They were on time for pickup and a lot of fun. I am so glad that for my fist trip to Victoria we took this tour. It saved a lot of hassle figuring out how to get to the ferry and from there to downtown Victoria and then the 30 min. from there to Butchart Gardens. It was a long day and frankly hard to fit everything in, in one day. It was a bit of a whirlwind. It was sweet that when we came back instead of dropping us off at the hotel they dropped us off 3 blocks away at a restaurant we wanted to go to. I would definitely recommend this tour company. PS: you hardly feel the Ferry move at all
